Use SET SYNTH 112 in Scala, then SEND/FILE.

Hello

Unfortunately I don't have time to learn Scala commands or Unix .
Are there any plans for OSX Scala with graphical interface ?
I can't install Linux on my Mac after lots of trying , and Virtual PC is too slow.

Yes, although it depends on other people and I can't yet
say when.

A little off-topic, but I would be interested to know how hard a
Linux/OSX port is. Doesn't OSX use the Linux kernel?

OS X is BSD-based, but has since departed fairly far from any
other unix. Porting is still a cinch unless you're talking
about device drivers, multimedia, or gui, two of which Scala
needs.

A Mac/Linux port is already made, just a matter of compilation.
An OS X port is harder, the MIDI system is different and you need
the X Window system which is not native to OS X.

But will be soon, I just heard from a friend less
than 30 minutes ago.

I read it on /. days ago. Here's a link for the download:

http://www.apple.com/macosx/x11/

It'll be standard with the next release of OS X.
