"Phenomenal is one thought. Deep modern meditation
tool is another."
- Pat Pagano, dir. Southeast Just Intonation Society,
Gainesville, Fl.

"Beardsley sculpts tones into overpowering moods."
- Kyle Gann, the Village Voice, NYC

"The electric guitar corner was represented by
David Beardsley's atmospheric "Around D" - operative
word "around." Beardsley played his maxi-fretted guitar
through a volume pedal, a looping device and other effects
to create swirling layers of meditative droning. Throbbing
close tones made it a vibration-oriented experience."
- Josef Woodard, LA Times

Folks
i highly reccomend a Beardsley performance for starting the summer off right.
i hope all are well and would like to be brought up to speed on the JI happenings on tuning list etc..
Most of my research lately has been with OpenGl 3D worlds and Just Intonation.

I have had one of my pieces performed at dxarts out there in washington.
It was done in 5.1 with Max/msp and PVNation for tuning concerns.
"dictionary for films taken closeup" and the "faux taxi" was a very nice success to complete my first year review, it is four 2 minute scenes from Cab rides around the lower east side. etc.. It includes "looking at jersey" my first real JI quartet in 17 limit JI performed by Univeristy of Florida String Quartet, .ORC.

Hope you all are having fun
to borrow a phrase from Dr. Strange

keep it 1/1
