Johnny in Los Angeles!

Hi all you southern Californians! I hope to see some of you at the 2
concerts I am doing in L.A.

The first is part of MicroFest at Pierce College on Saturday, May 17th at 8PM
which is to include my intoning Harry Partch's "Barstow" with John Schneider,
and introducing Lou Harrison's solo bassoon work to the west coast: "A Solo
for Robert Hughes, from 'Group on a Row the Same" which will be played in a
"microtonally informed" manner. Also in the plans is a performance of
Partch's "San Francisco."

On Monday, May 19th I will be playing out on the bassoon at Line Space
Line...to include my solo "Dune" with other surprises. Information is
