Werckmeister a' Dutch

I found the phrase that got me thinking Werckmeister spoke some Dutch. It's
at the end of a work of his called (in English):

"The most necessary Observations And Rules How the BASSUS CONTINUUS Or
Thoroughbass can be well treated And each who..." called "Short Lesson and
Addition, how one can tune and temper well a clavier."

Werckmeister wrote: "We want, however, to deal with this here simply and
mechanically, because beginners and many others do not know what a musical
comma or Snipzel is, as the Dutch, such as Doctor J.A. Ban in his
Zangle-Bloemzel calls it."
