Hello -

My opinion: France is an old friend of America's
and it has been a true friend of America's since
the times of Voltaire.

French musicians have contributed much to music
from Leonin and Perotin of the Notre Dame school, through
Guillaume Dufay and more recently, Claude Debussy, to
name only a few out of many.
