"Progress on the microtonal guitar home page. Help !"

1) The blurb on Jon Catler on the FreeNote Records' BIo page says :
"...unprecedented range of consonance and dissonance, alternating
between a 49-note per octave and a fretless neck."

Can someone shed some light on Jon Catler's 49-tone axe ?
I wouldn't assume it to be 49-tet since Catler seems more of
a JI guy from what I've read.

2) Is anyone using "Flexifrets" on Dulcimers or anything else ?
<http://www.servtech.com/~dwilder/bear-meadow/flexifrets.html>

3) Can anyone tell me something about the instruments these fellas use :

Seth Josel
Rod Poole

4) Calling David First !
Hope you're still on board. Since you've actually been in Guitar Player,
full page and all (that was you, oui ?), do you use microtonal guitars ?

Miscellany : Anyone looking for great modern Arabic that seriously grooves,
should check Rachid Taha's new album, "Diwn" on Polygram. I can't stop
listening to it.

altavista baby ;-)
