Not sure if this has been posted here yet, I haven't been able to read for
a while recently. Anyway it's a somewhat frustrating account of a "new
invention" that allegedly allows a piano to play microtones. "The musical
equivalent of splitting the atom", according to the author...

By the way a month from now we'll have a couple of 19-tone pieces
performed at Harvard, on a pair of retuned pianos. I'll post more about
this soon.
