Does anyone know where I can find English translations of Raga lyrics -
in particular morning ragas? Or does anyone (Haresh perhaps) have a
favourite in an English translation. It's for a choral setting. Thanks.

Hello Alison, I fail to follow what is meant by "Raga lyrics". Is it the shloka (verse) describing the raga? There are several such verses in Sanskrit (which I can translate for you), which have been used for meditating on the raga to be performed.

Thanks,
Haresh.

Yes Haresh, the Sanskrit slokas would be useful but also I have CDs of singers singing various ragas and I only have partial translations of what they are singing. Some are poems written by the singers themselves. Do you know of any such poems and
their English translations.
