just a quick announcement:

i've been invited to speak at a conference
on spectral music, in Istanbul (Turkey).

the conference runs from November 23 (Sunday)
to November 29 (Saturday).

no kidding! i'm not even sure how safe Turkey will be,
once the war starts (which seems inevitable now).

(Iraq won't be safe for Americans until after we
make it an American colony ... but *then* i'm looking
forward to a trip to see the Sumerian ruins!!!)
