Performance of Reinhard _Dune_ on Nov. 13!!

Good news:

The Composers Concordance is presenting Johnny Reinhard's legendary
microtonal bassoon solo _Dune_ as the concluding piece on our concert
Wednesday, November 13, 2002 8 PM at Washington Square Church, 135 W.
4th St. (right off of 6th Ave.), NYC.

It will be performed by the micro maestro himself, and we *guarantee*
his exceptional musicianship and exuberance. If you're in the area,
don't miss this rare and exciting treat of "polymicrotonality."

The "bad news" is the the Ben Johnston _Duo_ for flute and doublebass
had to be postponed. Our doublebassist had an injury, a sprained
wrist, and will not be able to perform on the concert. The piece
will be rescheduled for a warm night in February, February 26, 2003,
also at the Washington Square Church, 8PM.
