the octatonic scale relies on the vanishing of the 648:625, the
augmented triad on the vanishing of the 128:125 . . . both of these
simply amount to an enharmonic change, which, again, like the
syntonic comma, amounts to 20 cents in schismic (groven's tuning).
so, if groven could tolerate the 20-cent shifts in comma pump
progressions, he could just as easily tolerate them in the rendering
of these constructs . . .
