I have added to the BMS website the statements by Alain Bancquart about his own
experience with microtonal composition. Some of you may find these interesting,
and some of you may enjoy his music (there is an audio file there).

thanks for the nice translation, julia. this:

"In effect, if tonality is found to be bound in this manner to the
semitonal scale, the most direct means to be finished with it
obviously is by searching for other scales."

is something i wholeheartedly agree with, and have stated myself
around here several times . . .
