looks like you've got goldsmith's keyboard up there on the home page.
i'm not sure if you're aware of goldsmith's article, but he proposed
a keyboard with exactly the same design.

16-equal is notable for being the intersection of pelogic (135:128
vanishing) and diminished/octatonic (648:625 vanishing) approaches
(also 5-limit magic, 3125:3072 vanishing, if you excuse the
comparatively large deviations from ji). it falls just off the bottom
edge of the first graph on monz' et page:

i immediately (on february 15th) produced for monz another version of
the original graph which did include 16:

but he declined to use it.

the first of blackwood's twelve microtonal etudes is in 16-equal --
it's quite beautiful according to my cheesy taste.
