Robert Karl Stonjek writes, "Time has been confused with some axes of a graph for long
enough. Geometry is not space and it is not time, but the line is easily crossed and so
they sometimes seem to be synonymous."

Suppose I gave you a formula that shows a proportional relationship between Time and
Space and Distance? Would you be interested in discussing it?

Maybe on a physics list...

formulae that discuss proportional relationships
between Time, Space, and Distance are posted to
the tuning list all the time, generally under the
subject of "just intonation".

we don't talk about space and distance as much as
we do about time, but all three are implicit due
to the physics of sound and its propogation.

Joe, I'm not buying what you are selling. There are many things that can be related to the discussion, but it is most certainly possible to take the commonalities so far to the extreme that one must finally say "this is not what I came here for", bad English and all.

The problems of a non-moderated list, and multiply-cross-posted at that.

Yeah, I'm being grumpy about this.
