Scala for Mac Idiots

The subject says it all. I wish us Mac users has Scala.

If the problem is the price of OS X, Linux is free and
the Scala version for Linux on the Mac is even better than
for OS X. But whenever I suggest someone to make the machine
dual bootable and get Linux, the answer is silence, I don't
know why. Take a look here

This particular Mac idiot is still at os 8.6, never mind X. So no scala. I
have to do all the sums by hand (on a collection of ad hoc spreadsheets).

someday I am going to do it all in java...
