I think if he had the Phillips just-temperament all-key chromatic scale I
invented, he'd change his mind.

My scale theoretically has an up and a down scale. Although it isn't
necessarily used such in any given composition.
Up: 0-200-400-500-700-900-1100-1200
Down: 1200-1084-884-700-500-384-200-0

The C/7c Tonic (I) scale is:

Keyboard
C# 7Eb F# G# 7Bb
84 268 584 768 968
(85) (270) (585) (770) (970)
C D E 7F G A B C2
0 200 384 468 700 900 1084 1200
(385) (470) (1085)
Split digitals
168 400 500 668 868 1100 1168
(670) (1170)
*7 7 *7 7
(*tempered 30/17 minor 7th from

384 & 1084)
or (155) (855)
(tempered 7/4 minor 7th from 385
&
1085)

This scale provides a harmonic minor 7th and harmonic 9th chord on eery
doatonic degree. The F IV chord is incomplete, as there's no low order IV
chord in the natural C scale. So the IV scale and the I scale need to be used
together for much music. The V scale or a b II, b III or b VI scale may also
be needed in some music. So a three-keyboard instrument is needed. See my
forum below for more info.
