more "true way" nonsense

What's more, what is a "truly microtonal usage??"

Supposedly that includes a "functional" microtonality, but yet it
*excludes* the simple ratios of the just intonation intervals as
being significant.

So, that implies, as well, that the microtonality of Xenakis and
Penderecki is not "functional."

That's all dependent on ARTISTIC CONTEXT, and any attempt to view
microtonality as "fully implemented" apart from that it totally
idiotic.

Xenakis implements microtonality to the full in his *own* way, Bartok
in *his* own way. They are FULLY implemented by the relationships.
Just because they don't use all the microtonal relationships doesn't
mean it isn't implemented.

That's just like saying that because Julia doesn't use just
intonation in *her* musical relationships with 72-tET then *her*
music isn't "fully implemented."

I would never say that, because it would be ridiculous outside of the
artistic implementation.

There is a serious flaw in the logic here, as far as *I* am concerned!
