Sorry, I was just using your post to riff off of. I have an interest in
determining what is the smallest error anyone actually cares about, since
the question is important for determining where we quit listing new
microtemperaments, but this is a Don Quixote type of operation. It seems
people divide into two groups--those who think worrying about a 0.1 cent
error is absurd, and those who think the whole concept of a range of
acceptable values cannot itself be tolerated.
