Dear Folks

Long time no chat, flame or otherwise.
i am still looking forward to exchanging some Max/Msp files with any and all
Max user interested in JI.
I have created a nice patch called "teh" ~ the internet word replacing
"the". It is a generative patch that Justifies any input using Phase
Vocoding resynthesis objects created by Christopher Penrose and Eric Lyons
in their wonderful FFTease package (also available for JMax-linux). "Teh"
received it premiere at the 11th annual Florida Electroacoustic Festival in
March with Paul Lansky of Cmix fame as our CIR.

I have begun playing fretless JI guitar & amplified strings with a pop band
we will be playing a festival in Brooklyn "come the freak on II" October
26th

the page is in its infancy but does include a cheesy streaming vid and some
pretty sissy images courtesy of yrs truly.

Also for you JI Macintosh heads --James Mccartney's Supercollider is now
FREE and is VERY conducive to JI and extended ET's
http://www.audiosynth.com after about an hour or so i had it picking from
about 17 pitches per octave randomly in a quasi-ambient textural splash of
freely evolving lovies.

As well, if Kraig Grady reads this, might you send me Bruce Geherie's email?
I need to get the transcripts from our interview last December.

I am glad you are all finally warming to David Beardsley's magical JI power
dives and giving up on that boring 72 tet crap.

Love and kisses

South East Just Intonation Society
