Blazano quadratics

I'm wondering if anyone has done much looking (and I'd be very surprised if
someone hasn't) into what I guess I'll call (lacking a better term)
'Blazano quadratics...' Where say the product of two numbers (x*y) is the
set (an n-tET), and the sum of x and y is the subset (a potential n-atonic
so to speak...). This would seem to be a way (and of course it would be a
purely numerical way) to delineate and investigate
'anything(n-atonic)-out-of-anything(n-tET)' types of microtonal systems.
