The time I wasted unsuccessfully attempting to type or request the current password for yahoo voting serves to confirm my impression that yahoo is a "now has been -- (if it ever was?)" organisation.
Time to move on, and avoid wasting our time and resources with yahoo's commercial, marketing and proprietary trivia.

does that mean you couldn't log on and vote in the poll?

and remember, you can vote against yahoo without necessarily voting
for columbia -- topica is another option.
