Hi!

For those interested, I wrote a saxophone quartet that will be available
to be played for the next year (after it's creation in next fall). It is
all in 1/8th tones (many new fingering to expect!) and playable but quiet
hard. So if any professional ensembles you might know would like to see the
score and hear the recording (not yet done, though) just write me at :

dunael@arobas.net

It can be well suited for an saxophone octet too.

Good day to all !

Vincent-Olivier Gagnon.

hi vincent.

i witnessed a performance by the U.S. Marines Saxophone Quartet ("the
president's own") recently and was stunned by their virtousity.

apparantly, they are familiar with the sims/maneri 72-equal notation
system, and performed a few works with "microtonal content".

just thought i'd let you know, for future reference . . .
