I've enjoyed your Mandelbrot composer.

Nice idea to follow the outline of the Mandelbrot set.
There are other mandelbrot music programs, but the
ones I've seen draw a line across from one side to the
other and follow that, which will often
hit a long stretch of values all the same.

I agree that the outline of the Mandelbrot set is
esp. interesting. It's what gives it a fractal
dimension, and I wonder too if the idea of following it,
and using the angles of the outline to make the fractal
tune may be an innovation.

I enjoyed the music that resulted.

Hi, Robert

The followings are just information that
some people might be interested in.

What I have done with Mandelbrot music progran is that
(1) Draw Magdelbrot image
(2) Trace outline as black and white image
(because I only use angles.)
(3) Generate music by using angle of line.

There is 8 dots around 1 dot.

1 2 3
4 * 5
6 7 8

If outline is like

*
**

Then 8, 5, 5
is the numbers to generate music.

Thanks,
Tetsuji
