Well, I made a bunch of changes to the new list, archives are now public,
and posting is allowed from anyone, anywhere.

I don't suppose any of this will make much difference to anyone's
opinions, but what the hey.

(Meanwhile, it just took me 3 minutes to log into Yahoo. . . . )
