i notice monz has a question mark for the date of paul rapoport using
25-equal. here's the reference from the discography:

Paul Rapoport: "A Study in Fives" (1994) for electronic guitar voice
in 25-tone e.t. On CD with issue 61 of the magazine Musicworks,
February 1995.

so it seems 1994 would be the appropriate date.
anyone heard this piece?

Yes; it's a fantastic piece. IIRC it uses some 4:5:7 chords in 25,
which are cool.
