Xenakis and 72edo

can anyone pinpoint the date when Xenakis first
advocated 72edo? i'm having a chat with paul, and
he's referring to Xenakis's composition _Pleiades_
and his book "Musiques formelles" (1963, rev. ed. 1981,
English trans. 1991).

paul says he saw it in the French version of the book
before 1992.

anyone?
