subject lines! (was: Digest Number 1890)

hi Gerald,

first: welcome back to the list!
good to have you around again.

second: P L E A S E try to remember to take
the time to put a meaningful subject-line into
your post before you send it. you're often responding
to a previous post, so it should have that subject,
but even if it's a new thread you're starting, it
should still have a subject that describes the contents.

i (and many others here for whom i will speak now)
would appreciate this very much.
