Re: Partch performance

My question regarding the Partch Joyce settings: if the AFMM Ensemble uses a
newly built Kithara along with the requisite soprano and 2 flutes, isn't this
an authentic performance? Actually, even the 2 flutes are not flutes in the
traditional sense. Henry Brant played the second of the 2 movements on a
idiosycratic instrument that he owned personally.
