Hey Monz,

Thanks for doing this:

musicex55.mp3
4-voice musical example, p 271

I must have missed it before.

Telemee, is that minor seventh chord in there *supposed* to be out of
tune like that? How did T. notate it?

Good one. :)

Well ... that discussion about Telemann was quite a
while ago. I'll have to find my posts about it then.

Can you be more specific about which chord? I hear
a few things that sound out-of-tune.

It's a minor seventh chord, about 2/3 of the way through the
selection. Is the score up on a webpage somewhere?

Hmmm ... this quote comes from a post you sent:

On Manuel's site, right at the middle of the page:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~huygensf/doc/telemann.html

Watch out! The top staff uses one of the old-fashioned
"C"-clefs, where the bottom line of the staff is "middle-C"!

This is precisely the same article Johnny Reinhard showed
us when we got together at Joe Pehrson's in December 2000.

Here's the original post I sent describing this musical example:
(and it's the one you quoted)

Don't have time to elaborate now ... off to work.
