I myself am dealing quite a lot with stuff like just intonation as well. That's why you
can edit your scales in Melodyne to quite an extent. In fact, pitch resolution in Melodyne
internally is not limited to any steps or units per semitone, as it is represented in
floating point numbers. The shortcoming is just that entering a value (or displaying
the exact value) is limited by the setup of the respective text fields. So, in an upcoming
release of Melodyne we will give the user the option to configure the number of decimals
for pitch related text fields in the Melodyne Preferences.

If you look at the detected pitch curve in Melodyne, you will see that natural pitch
fluctuations in a recorded tone mostly are a lot more than one cent, with the exception
of piano or organ tones maybe, and with artificially generated sounds, or course.
For that reason, I did not assume that it might be useful to access tuning values below
one cent, but I admit that for experimental purposes it will be!

All the best - Peter
