I realized that I should clarify here that I'm using the
"strict" definition of JI, that is, 5-limit.

There's nothing especially good about the way 53-EDO
emulates low-integer ratios with primes higher than 5.
(that's left to other EDOs ... like 72 for example ...)

But 53-EDO *does* emulate both 3- and 5-limit systems
extremely well.
