Re: adding and multiplying

By coincidence, I recently added a web page about ratios and cents
and adding and multiplying to my tunes site, pointing out that when
one adds cents, one multiplies ratios. This is a very natural source
of confusion for those new to the subject.

Perhaps this may be helpful. It's meant for those who are completely
new to ratios and cents, though familiar with semitones and herz,
possibly a candidate page for the FAQ.
