As many of you probably know, Jacky Ligon's webzine has a new
edition, #3 that just hit the press-web!

It's really great, as they all have been.

Wonderful interview with Neil Haverstick by Dan Stearns.

An engrossing article by Margo Schulter about 13-tET with sound files
that *sound great*... (probably thanks to Jacky's magic)

Jeff Scott chimes in and stretches the mind with stretched tunings...

My friend Anton Rovner comments on a recent quarter-tone piano
concert in Moscow and the origins of the ANS synthesizer and other
microtonal goodies.

Jeremy Gill presents his mermerizing Unidalamandala-lala

Jacky Ligon makes a great sound file through the *super* particulars
of superparticulars.

Did I leave anybody out?

Oh.. myself... my report on last May's Microfest, and some great
reviews of CDs.. Prent Rodgers new release, and much much more.

And it's all right here:

Way to go, Jacky!

Fantastic! Now that I'm able to stream mp3s, the ability to click and hear
music related to the article is totally awesome. I think the days of paper
music journals is just about over.

As some of you may or may not know, TMA came into existence
immediately following another ambitious undertaking that ultimately
came unglued in an extremely stressful way, and I don't know many
folks who could've refocused their energies as quickly and with as
much undiminished enthusiasm as Jacky did... I know I surely couldn't
have.

Thanks for another nice issue Jacky, and especially for keeping the
reason why it's all worth doing in the first place front and center
where it always belongs... you're an inspiration!

your friend,

--Dan Stearns
