Hi there,

Does anyone have tuning digests 1774 and 1776, for the archive?

Robert

Hi there,

A reminder about the archive.

I'll do another upload of the recent digests
in a couple of days time, plus a zip of it as well, then probably try
for a first version of the complete archive.

If you want to participate, send an e-mail to me, e.g. at:
tuning_archive@rcwalker.freeserve.co.uk

or if you use the link on this page
http://members.tripod.com/~tuning_archive/tuning_digests/html/about_this_archive.htm
it will fill out the subject and body of the message for you
(in netscape and internet explorer anyway).

I almost certainly do need permission to include your
posts in either the on-line archive or the cd
from legal point of view as well as respect for
poster's views on the matter.
See:
http://www.patents.com/weblaw.sht#cen

This may be re-assuring for those who don't want their posts included
in any kind of archive at all - if anyone else wants to make one
you have the right to object to them.

So far there are only 10 people on the list. However their
posts amount to about a third of all the ones made, so the
archive is going to be a pretty substantial and useful
one.

I can also do an archive of all the posts by a single
person. This could be useful for those who want to
prepare entries for the faq.

Any such archive would be for that person's individual use only
and you don't need to be in the on-line archive to ask for one.
If it is small enough I can just send it to you by e-mail.

Also, just to make it clear, in my own off-line searches I will only use the
archive with the authors who have said they want to
be in it, except for purposes of debugging the program for
the selection of ok authors.
