"Enjoying" the Schoenberg discussion!

May I politely suggest that the discussion of Schoenberg and various
abstract expressionists be kept on the "crazy music" list??

Certainly abstract expressionism verges on the "crazy"; it belongs
here by definition!

Additionally, the discussion, as it pertained to consonance (or so-
called Blackwood "concordance") and dissonance and the relationship
to the harmonic series is VERY MUCH an important part of an alternate
tuning composing forum!

I think the discussion has pretty much wound down, though... but I
would just propose that Schoenberg as he relates to alternate tuning
and concordance and the overtone series be still a topic here, if
necessary.

I found the whole discussion fascinating. Congrats to mclaren for
his wonderful contributions! (And yes, I can read through the,
er, "rest"...)
