Ha, normalsplaidout--ain't it the truth! Boy, that's funny... stupid,
but FUN! (When I say "stupid" I mean tongue in cheek and gimmicky in a
fun way.)

Hopefully Jon will take the new band to the microtonal lecture circuit
where Meredith's leatherjacketed, hard rockin vocal gyrations will
simultaneously shatter everyone's pocket calculators and reading
glasses.

Holy shit, that was a tonic to the ears. Not only would it be good to
force some of the 'professors' to get experienced, but this reminded
me some of the critical mojo that is missing from all the
current "downtown" pieces that are supposed to "capture the raw
energy of rock".

Yeah, right.

You've got a point there. I don't think "hard" rock was too
much of an influence on those downtown/new music guys.
