Jon and Joe:

Agreed on all counts, but I felt the point needed to be made. My
hope is that maybe a gentle touch can be found to induce more
flexibility in (my own!) musical practice wherever we are.

And I'm sorry I can't get this infernal machine to better do my
bidding, yet.
