Hello all,

I'm having another go at this with composition in mind. I'm
currently digging through the May 2001 archives reading about
the "Blackjack" scale Dave Keenan me about about, so if the 21 notes
have changed since then, I'd appreciate it if somebody let me know.
If not, then I'm just going to start writing/recording music. What
file format does everybody like?

Regards,
Andy F.

The scale is the same, but the way it's being pitched or written down is
being standardised. The current favourite is in the lattice at
<http://x31eq.com/miracle/blackjack.txt>, but there's a
possibility it might get transposed up a fifth to suit violinists.

The ASCII notation uses these accidentals for steps from 72-equal relative
to 12-equal

-3:'[', -2:'<', -1:'v',
1:'^', 2:'>', 3:']'
