One of my favorites is Scott Wilkinson's "Tuning In;" there's a lot
of interesting info, and it isn't too math oriented for us
mathematically challenged folks. And, I myself have written a modest
little book about 19 eq, and it's relation to 12 and pure tunings,
called "19 Tones:A New Beginning;" it's a real "street" look at the
subject, and quite deliberately geared for newcomers who want to read
something very down to earth...Hstick

It's a good one to start with, but don't take it too seriously -- it
has a number of serious errors.
