Chuck Berry

Paul just mentioned that Mr. Berry (who just turned 75) wasn't much
of a blues singer...true enough. But, in 1970, my band got to back him
up at a gig on his farm, and whoee, did he play some slow blues or what!
I was amazed...he played like I've never heard on any of his records,
the real deep stuff. The man has roots, and is the real King of rock and
roll...Hstick
