I hung out with Joe on Friday night, and it sounded to me like he's
much more interested in exploring the total pitch continuum than the
72-tET grid (he continually thinks in terms of cents, especially when
improvising) . . . the same is true of Mat, from what Steve Lantner
tells me. Meanwhile, Ezra Sims complained to me about the "jangling"
fifths in 22-tET and 31-tET . . . Ezra of course does advocate 72-tET.
