Hi there

An easy way to change subscription if one isn't accustomed to using browsers for it,
is to follow these instructions:

> You do not need web access to participate. You may subscribe through
> email. Send an empty email to one of these addresses:
> tuning-subscribe@yahoogroups.com - join the tuning group.
> tuning-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com - unsubscribe from the tuning group.
> tuning-nomail@yahoogroups.com - put your email message delivery on hold for the tuning group.
> tuning-digest@yahoogroups.com - change your subscription to daily digest mode.
> tuning-normal@yahoogroups.com - change your subscription to individual emails.
> tuning-help@yahoogroups.com - receive general help information.

They appear at head of the digest.
In individual e-mail mode, you just see this at the end of each message:

To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to:
tuning-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Easily missed it seems, - this often happens.

If it is the flood of messages that overwhelms, the digest mode is
quite good as you get only two or three a day or so, and it is easy to
redirect them to a special folder if your e-mail program lets you do that.

(in Outlook Express, use Tools | Message Rules)

...and etc. Thanks for reminding us of these simple things! It's easy
to see you've spent many an hour around the command line!! :)

One other point: some people may be subscribed under more than one
account, and I *know* that the list owner can delete/unsubscribe any
member, so if someone gets hopelessly befuddled, maybe we can ask
fearless (and very quiet) list owner Mark N. to step in and help
out...

Cheers,
Jon

Contact the list owner and have him remove the offending address.
That sounds like the only way, if you've tried to unsub the usual
ways.
