MetaList:

Those of you in near proximity to Montclair, NJ, shouldn't pass up a chance to see the East coast premiere of Harry Partch's "And On the Seventh Day Petals Fell in Petaluma"! Hasn't been performed since 1981, and it really is great that Dean Drummond, Newband, and the gathered students of Montclair State can make this come about, all part of their Partch Centennial celebration this Sunday. Also on the program will be performances of "Barstow" and "San Francisco". Complete info can be found at:

http://www.newband.org/events.htm

...but the concert is:

3:00 pm Sunday, September 30
Admission: $15
Montclair State University
Memorial Auditorium
Upper Montclair, NJ 07043
Information: 973-655-5112

Have a great time,
Jon
