Oh... I forgot to mention that all these explorations in scale
auditioning were only possible with the *ta da* Graham Breed MIDI
RELAY...

That makes it all possible. That and SCALA are surely *my* most
important tools.

What could we do without them? And to controvert the materialist
ethic, they both are absolutely free freeware, in case somebody out
there doesn't know already...

There are actually two common meanings of the word freeware.
Scala is freeware in the sense that it costs nothing and I've been
using the word in that sense myself. But in case of GNU and other
software it has an entirely different meaning, namely that you are
free do to almost anything with the software code, including changing
it or ask money for it. With Scala it's certainly not allowed to
ask money for it for one thing.
