they need money

Sorry for the short off-topic post. The mayor's command center of
the lower Manhattan tragedy and the American Red Cross have just
stated as of Saturday morning 9-15 that they don't need any more
physical volunteers.

What they *do* need is money to purchase supplies. That's where
everybody can help. The easiest way is with Jon Szanto's suggestion,
Amazon.com. My wife and I have each donated $50, which is not
much... maybe we can do more, but it's a start.
