Hello ALL, Please consider the following verse from sangitaratnakara
[I, 3, 59-60] :-

"shhaDja (C) and R^ishhabha (D) express heroism, wonder and fury;
dhaivata (A) is used to express disgust and fear; gaandhaara (E) and
nishhaada (B) for pathetic yearning; and madhyama (F) and pa~nchama
(G) for joy and love."

So, let America, while leading the world against terrorism, compose a
magnum opus, in notes using C, D, E, F, G, and B, but not A. It would
start with passages highlighting E and B, followed by passages with
accent and emphasis on C and D, with the finale stressing F and G.

More directly, does any work exist which uses all natural notes
except A? I cannot recall any such raga that uses only those notes.

Regards,
Haresh.
