Actually, Xenakis' _Metastasis_ was based on the lines/curves of the
Philips' Pavillion; _Pithoprakta_ was largely based on the motion of
gasses.

I also understand that the shape on the floor was based on a cow stomach as
being the ideal acoustic shape!
