We're OK

Linda and I are fine, although I can see out my window right at this
moment the billowing smoke that was once the World Trade Center.

Fortunately neither of us was in lower Manhattan at the time.

Naturally, we're keeping pretty much at home at the moment.

Hopefully there will be better days ahead... but I remain
unconvinced...

Glad to hear it Joe. Could the other Manhattan tuning folk check in if
you are OK, just to ease our minds?

Whew, yes, things are okay. Just listening hard to the news. I was just
about to do a bulk mailing and have an AFMM board meeting. Joe? Please
cancel tonight's meeting.

Twin Towers gone.

Of course, Johnny... the meeting is canceled, and many of our lives
have been changed. Fortunately, for Linda and myself not so much at
present. I fear, however, that there is more "biological action" up
ahead... NYU not a great place to live at the moment!

Back to Michigan?? We'll see!....

I'm NJ but I've been making phone calls. I talked
to Marian Zazeela, she and La Monte Young are ok. The
Dream House is located about 10 - 15 blocks north from
the former WTTs.

I talked to Meredith Borden. She lives in Hoboken,
but works in town. She's OK. We speculated that Jon Catler
is OK. He's probably just getting out of bed and lives
way uptown.

Anybody hear from Johnny Reinhard yet? He also lives way uptown.

My dad works 1 block from the World Trade Center, but he was
evacuated successfully.
