Dan, those parsnips I planted are finally big enough
and I ate one cooked with butter, lemon, and thyme.
You're right, they really are good.

I think that parsnips and celery are the same plant.

My polka-dotted watermelons are getting quite big and I
am going to take some pictures of them soon.

Brought in my first giant blue winter squash of the
season today and put it on the table in the living
room.

My bright red sweet corn did better this year -- the
bugs went after the blue corn I planted around it
instead.
