off topic: pedagogical software

A friend who teaches at the Hochschule f�r Kunst in Berlin asked me if I
knew of any good American computer programs (CD-Rom) to assist students and
teachers in instrumentation, form, harmony, counterpoint etc. Do any of you
have any recommendations?
